About Me
I am the founder of Positive Behaviour Change, a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) with 18 years’ clinical experience supporting children, adolescents and adults across Northern Ireland.
My work is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), behavioural science and trauma-informed practice. Rather than focusing solely on surface-level behaviour change, I work with the underlying patterns, nervous system responses, past experiences and current contexts that are influencing how the person thinks, feels and responds - supporting them to make values-drivenchoices that result in meaningful and lastingchange.
I support clients experiencing anxiety, disordered eating, body image concerns, trauma responses, attachment patterns, social challenges, emotional regulation difficulties, and neurodevelopmental profiles (including ADHD and autism).
Sessions involve active therapeutic work rather than simply providing a place to talk week-to-week. Using clinical formulation, psychoeducation and nervous system awareness to guide the process, we build a shared understanding of what is happening and why. From there, we work through the difficulties and develop practical ways forward that align with individual goals, strengths and pace.
The process is collaborative, with trust, compassion and psychological safety sitting at the foundation.
My approach is trauma-informed, neuro-affirming and individualised, rather than relying on standardised programmes.
Sessions are delivered remotely, offering flexibility and accessibility across the region. School consultation and in-person visits are available where appropriate.
